How to know if an email, text, or call from Chip is legitimate
Learn how to easily verify if communications you receive are genuinely from Chip
How we contact you
- Email and in-app chat: We primarily get in touch with you via email (from secure@getchip.uk or hello@getchip.uk) or the in-app chat.
- SMS: We may send you an SMS, but these will only ever direct you to log in to the app. They will never contain a link.
What we will never ask for
- Your password, PIN, or any other login details.
- Your personal or financial information via email or text.
- We will never ask you to click a link in an email or text message to log in to your account.

If you are ever in doubt about a communication from Chip, please do not click any links or share any information. Instead, contact us directly using a verified method.
You can reach us by emailing secure@getchip.uk or by messaging us via the in-app chat (which can be found on the Profile tab). Our team will confirm whether the request is genuine.
